So there are no ads on the service

We do not sell ad space or promoted posts, and we do not push posts from people or cafés into your main feed.

We frequently receive reports or questions about some posts being advertisements, but these are not advertisements from us or paid posts. Business account are allowed to have accounts to talk about or share their services. We will not take money from the account holder to change where things show up.

Business accounts are no different on the service compared to a standard account. Social media is just as important to businesses so they can provide information to people about their services.

With that in mind, all accounts must adhere to our policies regarding spam and respect the rules of the cafés they join.
