Posting Limits

Every account has a limit to how many conversations, and comments it can make every 30 minutes, 1 hour, and per day (24 hours). This is based on a sliding scale so you don't need to wait for 24 hours if you hit the daily limit, you only need to wait for 1 item to become older than 24 hours giving you one more spot.

Accounts that are new get half as many conversations and comments in each time frame, this is to prevent new accounts that join to spam. Once the account is a week old the limit is removed and it will have full access.

We also give a second 2x limit to news, robot, creator and business accounts. This is just due to them having to normally reply to more comments, like support requests or questions. Accounts in the categories listed are added only by staff and abuse of the limits will result in loosing the account type and can result in getting banned.
