Members

This section is where you can handle the moderation of café members. The members list provides seven different options to view café members:

  1. Search - Search for a member by their username.
  2. All - Lists all members of a café including those who have been banned or are requesting to join.
  3. Active - Lists all members of café except for banned and requesting users.
  4. Waiting - Lists all current requests to join the café.
  5. Banned - Lists all members who have been banned from the café.
  6. Admin - Lists all admins of a café.
  7. Moderator - Lists all moderators of a café.

User Moderation

By clicking on a user from the member list, you are provided with a few options to modify the user. Depending on the status of the user, the options available to you may change.

Account Info

  • Visit Profile - Redirects to the profile of the user.

Member Status

  • Account Status - Shows the current status of the user.
    • Clicking this option allows you to ban a user from the café, or simply remove them and allowing them the option to join later (kicking).

If the user is banned from the café or requesting to join, you will see 3 options:

  • Make Active - Makes the user an active member of the café by unbanning them or accepting the request to join.
  • Remove & Block Account - Bans the user from the café. They will not be shown in the member count and will not be a part of the public, but they will be seen in the All or Banned sections in the moderation panel.
  • Remove Account - Removes the user from the café. This will reject a membership request and kick a member from the café. Using this option on banned accounts will allow them to return.

Management Level

This section is slightly different depending on the status of the user: - If the user is not a café staff member, you can promote them to moderator.

  • If the user is a moderator, you can either remove their moderator status or promote them to admin.
  • If the user is an admin, you will be given the option to remove their staff access entirely.
    • After removing their staff label, you can repromote them if you would like.
