Get to know us!

Anthony Lee (he/him) - Founder/Developer

Hello, I created Hey.Café along with several other online services. I am also the Co-Owner of LAMM Creative Solutions that does IT work and other projects including Hey.Cafe. I created Hey.Café as a follow-up to a project I created many years before that was called Twii. I enjoy the Pokémon series and games and have played every single version of every game. I have always loved social networks due to the Pokémon community and talking to people all over the globe about the games. I enjoy finding ways to allow people to communicate with each other in friendly ways that don't require ads or giving up a bunch of information about yourself. We have a long way to go, but I really hope to make a community we call all be proud of using.

Amelia V (she/her) 🏳️‍⚧️ - Administrator

Hello! My name is Amelia, but you can call me Amy! I'm from the United States and I have been here since before the beginning! As one of the administrators, I help out pretty much with anything I possibly can. Currently, I focus a lot on documentation but I'm also involved with testing, moderation, and support. In life, I work as a library supervisor and I also play in a pipe band! I like to play video games (my favourite's Celeste!) and I am a huge fan of video game soundtracks.

Lisa Marie (she/her) - Administrator

Hi! I’m Lisa, Co-Owner of LAMM Creative Solutions who owns an IT company and other projects including Hey.Cafe. My role on here is to help as needed with support tickets and answering questions. Outside of Hey.Cafe I do IT support for several large companies with a specialty in car dealership infrastructure and run an E-commerce business. In all my free time I enjoy spending time with family, chatting with new friends, and adding to my large Rae Dunn mug collection.

Nicholas (he/him) - Moderator

Hello there! I'm Nicholas, but prefer Nick. My role on Hey.Cafe is to help others, be that support questions or tickets or just general use of our platform here. I've worked in tech support for over 10 years, with a variety of different devices and operating systems. In my free time I'm a gamer, and my favourite video game is Halo: Combat Evolved

Kai (they/them) - Moderator

I’m Kai, an Ontario-based tech enthusiast and part of the Hey.Cafe welcome team. I enjoy greeting new members, resolving tickets, and sharing feedback to help the community grow. When I’m not gaming or diving into new tech projects, I handle IT repairs and troubleshooting while navigating life on disability. Fun fact: the first "computer bug" was actually a moth!
